About Memory's village play

Structure

Play will be structured in the following way:
1.5 hour of uninterrupted and free exploration play. The quality play and educational offering will be supported by a café area providing quality snacks and non-alcoholic beverages for parent / carers and their children.

MVP’s Contribution to Calderdale

MVP seeks to bring communities together through bespoke and purposeful play. MVP’s core passion is to step into that gap and offer schools specially planned and delivered interventions for disadvantaged pupils through intervention programmes that immerse pupils through play.

MVP also seeks to bridge the gap between parents’ knowledge of the strategies, methodologies and terminologies used in schools and the school curriculum with a vision to empower them to propel their children’s learning through fun play. Schools are welcome to enquire about what we offer by emailing

Most Valuable Play

At MVP you can expect the most valuable type of play. MVP will bring learning into play through bespoke and targeted role play.

Each play area in the centre will be purposefully set up to meet EYFS and KS1/LKS2 objectives through the discovery of real life. Through all this type of learning, MVP will encourage parental engagement with their children’s development through interactive activities designed to be fun for the whole family. There will be games and challenges to complete with rewards to look forward to.
